    HOW IT WORKS

    How to use this tool

    1. Choose a JPG, PNG or WebP image. JPG output and a 100 KB target are selected.
    2. Inspect the preview. Change the format or allow smaller dimensions if needed.
    3. Check that the measured result is within 100,000 bytes, then download.

    What happens to your image?

100 KB means 100,000 bytes here. The optimizer measures the encoded file rather than estimating it. A tight limit may reduce detail or dimensions. The tool reports any remaining excess instead of claiming success.

Your image is decoded and processed locally in your browser. Selected images and generated files are not sent to an image-processing server.

What if a form requires strictly less than 100 KB?

Enable the strictly-below option in advanced settings. Exactly 100,000 bytes is allowed by an at-most limit but not by a strictly-below limit.

    Supported files and limits

Upload JPG, PNG, WebP, HEIC, GIF or BMP. Files must be at most 40 MB, 12,000 pixels on either side, and 40 megapixels. HEIC is decoded locally on demand. GIF conversion uses its first frame. Animated PNG/WebP and SVG are not supported. Batch processing accepts up to 30 files and 200 MB total.

Converted files do not retain original EXIF metadata or color profiles. You can clear the editor when finished.
