Your images stay on your device

When you choose a file, ImageFix reads it in your browser. Resizing, cropping, compression, conversion, PDF creation and ZIP downloads happen there. Your selected files and generated results are not uploaded to our server.

File safety

We check supported file signatures and file limits, then create downloads from decoded pixels. Original metadata and appended file data are not copied. Filenames are shown as text, not interpreted as HTML. These protections reduce risk; they are not antivirus scanning and cannot guarantee protection from browser or decoder vulnerabilities. Keep your browser updated.

What the server receives

Your browser requests the website’s HTML, styles, JavaScript and any image-decoder code it needs. Like other websites, the host can see ordinary connection information such as your IP address and requested page. That is separate from your image content.

Files and local usage counts

Image data is kept in browser memory while you work. Downloads are saved where you choose. Clearing or leaving the editor releases its image references; this is not a guarantee of secure memory erasure.

Optional usage counts stay in this browser’s local storage. They do not include images or filenames and are not sent to an analytics provider. You can disable or clear them in local usage insights.

Why a first visit still needs a connection

The browser must download the app code first. HEIC decoding, ZIP downloads and PDF merging may load additional code when used. Your image is processed locally once the required code has loaded. ImageFix does not promise that every feature is available offline.
